At least 20 food trucks will serve delectables like seafood, barbecue, grilled cheese and other imaginative sandwiches, cupcakes, whoopee pies, bacon, and more. Each festival will have children’s activities, live entertainment, places to sample food and drink. Admission tickets will be available online.

Salem Spice Festival 2014 -- Salem, MA
September 13, 2014 to September 14, 2014
Pioneer Village at Forest River Park, West Avenue, Salem
A celebration of Salem's long and fascinating history with exotic exports from around the world, the festival will explore spices, herbs and teas in food, drink, medicines, and arts. Crafts, food samples and demonstrations, live music, lectures, workshops and storytelling will all be featured.

Boston Local Food Festival 2013-- Boston, MA

This free outdoor event features local restaurants, farms, fishers, specialty food producers, food trucks, and food and fitness-related organizations. This festival will have a seafood throwdown, the Kid’s Zone, and live musical performances.

Bourne Scallop Festival 2014 --East Falmouth, MA

Cape Cod Fairgrounds, 1220 Nathan Ellis Highway, East Falmouth
The Cape Cod area invites the public to celebrate 45 years of family fun at this New England staple seafood festival. Browse over a hundred booths of juried American-made art and crafts as you munch on fresh food from vendors -- and, of course, plenty of legendary scallops to go around. Other event highlights include midway rides, carnival games, and live entertainment! There is on-site parking; this is a rain or shine event.

Craft Brew Race and Festival -- Falmouth, MA
September 28, 2014 to September 28, 2014
Cape Cod Fairgrounds, East Falmouth
The Craft Brew Races is a 5k road race followed by a local craft beer festival. Runners and walkers are welcome to participate in the 5k. The craft beer festival will be held immediately following the race featuring 20 local breweries. The post-race beer festival will be open to anyone over age 21. This event is for guests age 21 and older.
