Cape Cod is filled with enticing pick your own (PYO) Farms

PYO Produce: strawberries (June); snap peas (June, July); tomatoes (call for availability); pumpkins (September, October). Do not bring your own containers. Cash and carry only.
Hours: Daily, June through October 31, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Also: For sale at farm store, tomatoes, apples, corn, zucchini and summer squash, cornstalks, winter vegetables, fall decorations, hay rides.

PYO Produce: Salad greens, vegetables, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries; sunflowers, edible flowers, fava beans, herbs. Pick-Your-Own day passes on sale, $8 per adult and $6 per child age 3 to 11.
Season: Call ahead to learn what is being harvested or check farm’s website
Hours: May through September, daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Also: Salad mix available for sale year round from the hydroponic greenhouse. Take-away dinners at the cafe; Peck O’Dirt Bakery serves muffins, quiches, cookies; Jamaican Buffets every Wednesday in the summer, 5 to 8 p.m.; all other events canceled. The farm also rents canoes for use on the pond.
