As the sun rises over the Berkshire Hills that surround our estate, the aroma of coffee brewing and fresh baked muffins and bread awaken you. Applegate Inn's 6-acre grounds feature manicured lawns bounded by towering trees, gardens planted with every flower imaginable and a heated swimming pool. All rooms feature private baths, telephones, CD players, fireplaces or stoves, central air conditioning and are cable ready for televisions. Many rooms have whirlpool tubs built for two, TV/VCR, wet bars with refrigerators, microwaves and coffee makers. One room boasts a large steam shower; another has a spacious in-room soaking tub. Our Inn is located at the elbow of the Cape sitting high overlooking the enchanting Pleasant Bay and is situated between the villages of Chatham and Orleans. From here you can explore the Cape without having to change your Inn; you unpack and pack only once.

You'll stay on a working tall ship in one of our beautiful cabins. We only make six cabins available each day and they go quickly. All cabins feature a skylight, hot/cold water running sink and are paneled in yellow pine to provide an authentic tall ship experience.
